The Waffen-Gebirgs-(Karstjäger-)Brigade der SS was a German mountain infantry brigade of the Waffen-SS formed in 1944. It was primarily composed of volunteers and conscripts from the mountainous regions of Yugoslavia and Italy, tasked with combating partisan forces in the difficult terrain of the Karst plateau. The brigade saw action against Yugoslav Partisans and other resistance groups during the latter stages of World War II.
